Mike Hodgson
Mike is a self taught artist. After serving in Vietnam, Mike returned to California where he spent many years working as a layout artist and layout stylist for various studios including Hanna Barbara, Walt Disney, Marvel Studios and Jim Henson in animation. While with Jim Henson he received 2 Emmys for background design.
After that he became involved in theme park design where he worked on designs for many theme parks in Japan and the US.
In addition to his animation work, Mike designed numerous animated commercials for Green Giant, McDonalds, the Cricket Doll, Winnie the Pooh, Mattel Toys and Wickes furniture.
Mike lived in the San Bernardino mountains for 35 years before moving to Cathedral City where he lives now with his wife and enjoys his art collection and his pencil drawings. .
