ARTISANS

I've been drawing all my life but only got started in digital illustration about 3 years ago and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Living with lifelong depression and anxiety definitely inspires me to paint and illustrate with very much color and optimism. My work is filled with love, sweetness and whimsy. If I go dark, I usually add a joke, not dark for darkness' sake. My biggest artistic inspiration comes from Hayao Miyazaki, Satoru Takizawa, Pendleton Ward, January Sun and Borodante, and literary inspiration from J.K. Rowling, Terry Pratchett, Naomi Novik and Vivian Vande Velde. Thank you for supporting artists!
