Sheri Geissel is a woodcarver and woodworker inspired by beautiful Big Bear Lake and its abundant wildlife and breathtaking surroundings. As a young teen, she would look for opportunities to create things from scrap wood found in her parents’ back yard. Today she enjoys using her mallet and gouges to hand carve unique and custom pieces, one creation at a time. She welcomes custom commissions of large and small hand carved designs and signs.
Sheri is currently a first grade teacher and has been teaching for over 30 years. She enjoys sharing her love of the arts with her students in hopes of inspiring them to create.
The love and support from her family and friends inspires her to continue creating in hopes of passing along the desire to always is your imagination.
