ARTISANS

Raised along the Southern California coast and later among the pines of Big Bear, my work is influenced by a lifelong connection to nature. The ocean, lakes & woods are recurring themes in my art, reflecting both
where I come from and what Inspires me. I’ve been drawing since childhood and began painting with acrylic on canvas as a teen.

Today, I work primarily in watercolor, both in traditional forms and in a style, I fondly call “Winnie-the-Pooh style”—a blend of pen and ink with watercolor inspired by the book illustrations I loved as a child. My art is influenced by a love of learning and the joy of exploring new mediums to express myself.
