From 1974 till 2003 Tim worked as a color matcher and tinter for various paint manufacturing companies. In 1990 he started painting murals in the homes of family and friends. He soon was so busy painting murals in the evenings and weekends that he decided to quit his job and start his own company, Murals by Lemen, in 2003. Because of that move he found he had enough time to delve into oil painting on canvas. With much time and a lot of help from many artists Tim says he found his style of expression which he describes as representational landscapes.
"I enjoy finding and creating scenes that showcase calm, quiet places that most of us desire to visit frequently. Although I often sketch outdoors my paintings are all created in the studio."
