ARTISANS

My love for creativity and art has always been a part of me.  I come from a long line of Italian painters.  My uncles were well known painters in Italy and their artistic talent carried over to the US.

 

I have been a nurse for many years but I have never stopped creating art for myself, my home and local vendors over the years all while raising  a family. I have done quite a bit of wood paInting in the past.  I have also worked with silk flowers creating centerpieces, wreaths, home decor including weddings.

 

A few years ago I was fortunate enough to be able to retire from nursing. I then traveled the world and studied art and culture along the way.  My love for travel brought me to a new line of work where I became a travel agent for a while.  But, I never stopped being an artist!

 

With new challenges at home and family medical issues, I needed to stay close to home where I began creating mosaics.  I have been creating these lovely pieces for a several years now.  It is my heart and soul!
